We just got the Sony Media converter. It converted video great from the source to the mac. However, I am still trying to figure out how to go from the mac to any tape machine. I have a 400mhz G3. I want to take the video and audio from a cd-rom and put it on a vhs tape. I was hoping it would be like the old av macs where you just tell it to share monitors in the monitors and sounds control panel. But I don't get any "arranging" options...
Does anyone know if I can get the actual display of my mac to come out through the firewire port?
