Can this be done? Can't Post

Hi, I'm trying to set up a DVD using iMovie3/iDVD3 but I'm not sure if I can author the DVD the way I want. The standard movie that iMovie and iDVD does is an opening screen with the "Play Movie" and "Scene Selection" buttons. Clicking on "Scene Selection" takes to to a series of pages with the various chapter markes.
An ascii art of the navigation looks like this:

MainPage
|
+--Play Movie
|
+--Scene Selection
|
+--Scenes 1 to 5
| |
| +--scene1--scene2--scene3--scene4--scene5
|
+--Scenes 6 to 7
|
+--scene6--scene7

What I would prefer to do is to create several "mini" movies and embed them in a single iDVD project. So what my DVD would look like is an opening screen with several selections. Clicking on any of the selections would take you to a new set of screens that lists the chapters just for that movie. You would not be able to navigate to chapters in the other movies, just the ones in the current selection.

MainPage
|
+--Project1
| |
| +--Play Movie
| |
| +--Scene Selection
| |
| +Scenes 1 to 3
| | |
| | +--scene1--scene2--scene3
| |
| +Scenes 4 to 5
| |
| +--scene4--scene5
|
+--Project2
|
+--Play Movie
|
+--Scene Selection
|
+Scenes 1 to 3
| |
| +--scene1--scene2--scene3
|
+Scenes 4 to 5
|
+--scene4--scene5

Any idea if this is possible? The only way I can see to do it is to export each scene from iMovie as a separate quicktime movie, then re-assemble it in iDVD as a series of folders. What I want to do is export the iDVD chapter markers along with a single quicktime movie, then import it to iDVD as a single movie. Unfortunately, the chapter markers are lost if you don't use the "Create iDVD Project" button in iMovie.

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Hmm, the ascii art didn't really work out the way it was supposed to. In the first example everything under "Scene Selection" should be indented over to be under the title (Scene Selection). In the second example, the same thing goes for Scene Slection in project1. But in project2 everything under it should be indented over, and everything under scene selection should be indented again. Sorry about that, it looks like the editor stripped off all the leading spaces.

Yes, it should be very easy. If I understand correctly, it's just a matter of setting up menus. I'm not sure what makes it complicated, unless I'm not understanding correctly.
