Can't install Compressor

Can't install Compressor	Can't Post

Anyone else have an issue with Compressor? When I insert my install dvd for either FCP 4.5 or the new UB FCP 5 disks compressor is greyed out and not selectable...what gives? Am I doing something wrong or missing something?

What Mac model are you installing it on?
Do you have the full Final Cut Suite installation set?

Double check the version of Compressor already on your computer.

From that:

"In some situations submitting a job in Compressor fails even though a valid source, preset, and destination have been added.

Symptom

The Submit button is dimmed in Compressor's Batch window, or a message appears stating "Unable to connect to background process" when submitting a job. This can occur due to an issue during Compressor's installation."

Hi Joel,

I installed it from the FCP UB disk. I cannot read the 4.5 disk for some reason. Like I said the compressor option is greyed out on the install menu for some reason.
