Codec DVCPRO For Quicktime Can't Post

I am looking for a Codec DVCPRO For Quicktime.
I try to use a DVCPRO deck to transfer via 1394 (firewire) into a mac G3?

DVC PRO uses the same codecs as regular DV. The only difference might be using "locked" instead of "Unlocked" audio. I don't totally understand what that means, but I think that there is a rendering option for it in Quicktime.
The only variant of DV that would use a different codec is DVC-50, which runs at 7 Mbps instead of 3.5 Mbps.

It's not the same compression. DV is 4:2:0 and DVCPro is 4:1:1.
