Conflict with P2 in new FCP update Can't Post

the latest update for FCP 6 (6.0.2) has been rumored to break P2 functionality via log and transfer. Disasterous to me, but probably not to anyone else here. You might still want to wait a couple of more days for the early adopters to help iron out the bugs before you do this upgrade. It affects users on tiger with 10.4.11 updates and QT 7.3.

It's been narrowed down to a conflict with Noise Industries plugins. Many had a fresh install with Leopard and FCS2 and never had an issue...like me :)

Re: [Timothy Harry] Correction [In reply to] Can't Post

More accurately, it would be the FX Factory plugin suite (Noise Industries is the company).

Here is a post about it:

yup, the plugin did affect it. There was one other plugin i read about that was causing some issues as well. I have not upgraded because I want to be more than double sure I am not broken.
