Converting a PAL MiniDV tape to NTSC	Can't Post

I went to Italy and took some video with a PAL Sony DV camcorder and brought the tape back to the US with me. How can I view this tape? Can I somehow get this video converted to NTSC, either to a NTSC DV tape, or to VHS? Can I use FireWire somehow to get at this video?

You may have to use the services of a duplicating/conversion service - and it's not cheap.
My rate for BetaSP (ADAC - the basic method), for example, is about $170 for a 1-hr tape. Someone who does DV will no doubt be significantly less, but it's still a chunk of change. Good luck.
