Creating Bluray files with compressor Can't Post

Can someone refresh my memory? I am trying to encode a file for bluray and I can no longer find the option that lets me encode with that.

It's under the Stream Usage drop down menu in the Encoder pane of the Inspector.

Thanks Chuck

What preset would you choose for bluray?

I called them up to cancel my order since it has been over 3 weeks and he put me on hold for 5 minutes, came back and gave me some bull story about my drive missing a part and they were waiting for the part to come in tomorrow. He said they will ship it out tomorrow. We will see.

Bruce, keep in mind that both Blu-Ray and HD-DVD use the same formats. Both will work with M-PEG 2 and H.264. It's my understand the only difference between the two was how close to the surface the playable layer is, how much each disc could hold, and the maximum bit rate it would play at.

It's the last thing that you need to consider because if you recorded in HDV you image was only recorded at 25 mbps, so to encode your video at a higher bit rate is pointless.
