DVD Studio Pro - burn speed Can't Post

As far as I can tell, you cannot set the burn speed in DVD Studio Pro, it just burns at the maximum speed allowed by the DVD-R, is that correct? If so, can anyone recommend a separate program to allow burning at lower speeds? Thanks ...

DVDSP does not allow you to control the burn speed. Roxio Toast does. I know burning at slower speeds is suppose to make a more compatible DVD but honestly I burn everything right from DVDSP and never have any problems.

Thanks Bill ... I've always been paranoid and burned at 2x so it looks like Toast is the ticket ...

In case anyone else is wondering how to burn at a lower speed than DVD SP allows, I just discovered that by creating a disk image with DVD SP (build and format, then specify hard drive as the destination), you can then bring the disc image into Disk Utility and burn at any speed you want up to the max of the DVD-r. Cool

I used Disk Utility to do all of my duplication. I burn everything at 16x and never get any coasters.
