DVD to Final Cut Can't Post

How can I get a burned dvd onto a final cut pro timeline? I need to include this segment as one of the chapters on the dvd that I am creating. I asked if they had a mini dv so that I could just capture the segment, but that isn't an option. Any ideas or thoughts?

Use Streamclip to extract the audio and video from the DVD. Make sure to export to quicktime and then change the codec to NTSC/DV.

Also there's Flip4Mac. It costs $25 bucks I think and it's real easy to use

DVDxDV Pro works the best in my opinion. It does audio and video into one nice little QuickTime file.

I normally use Mpeg streamclip, but i was not able to get it to work last time, so I bought DVDxDV. Worked like a champ.
