DV resolution? Can't Post

I have a G4 that I am using with Premiere 5 and a PAL Panasonic DV camcorder. What resolution should I be using for optimum results I wonder? Any ideas?....... Does it make any diference??...

Re: DV resolution? Can't Post

I don't know Pal at all but I have 2 different presets in After Effects for PAL. 720x576 or 768x576 square pixels. I know that it matters though. So maybe someone else will have a more specifics. Can you capture something from the camera and look at its settings in Premiere? - Rob
