Digital Betacam via firewire? Can't Post

Are there any video professionals out there that know of a way to convert CCIR-601 numbers to IEEE P1394 numbers so as to import video from a Digital Betacam tape via firewire? I do not have a DVC but I do have access to professional video equipment.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Re: Digital Betacam via firewire? Can't Post

The way I transfer Digi Beta material to firewire is by sending digibeta signal to a dvcam deck with SDI video input. This requires laying the signal down to a minidv or dvcam tape. I am at home now, so I can't tell you the model number of this industrial deck.
