FCP Clip Property "Take Note" any ideas Can't Post

Anybody have any idea what the Clip Property named "Take Note" is used for. The browser won't let input any information in it's column. I can't seem to find any documentation for it anywhere. It's got to have a purpose, but does anyone have any idea what that might be?

Ron:

????

I'm not sure what you are referring to. In my browser window, I don't see any column with that title. There is a "Log Note" column in which you can put something even as you are doing your capture. There are many other columns for other comments.

Yes I know there are others, but I want this one to work! Crazy

Blame it on Lisa, she's the one that found it. You don't see it there. Right click (or control click) and look at all of the other properties. Am I seeing things?

I just checked it again and it's there. It says Show Take Note. I show it (or activate it) and their isn't any thing in the field nor can I write anything in the field. And when I go to the capture screen, I see a place where is says "Shot/Take" but I don't see a field named "Take Note" there anywhere.

The take note can only be altered if you listed a take number to begin with when logging clips. This is supposed to give an editor a chance to make notes on different takes so he can determine the difference between different takes without having to watch the clip.

I have a couple of those video training courses and this is the way I understood it's use.
