FCP wont reconise GL1, on g4	Can't Post

I have no probleme grabing images from my gl1 with imovie but when I try it with FCP it says it doesn<t have the firewire protocal to get gl1... help

WELL,MINE GL1/FCP SET-UP WORKS WELL GRABING IMAGES, BUT i MUST AT TIMES GO INTO PREF. AND TURN OFF& ON THE GL1 AND THEN HIT OK FOR MY MONITOR TO WORK. iT IS FRUSTRATING. ANYBODY KNOW WHATS UP WITH THIS?
