Freeze Frame Can't Post

I have started to work with 16x9 now and have done a freeze frame before with 4x3. When I export a 16x9 freeze frame it gets made to a 4x3 and is squeezed. Is their a way to export it so it is not distorted. Thanks in advance for any help.

How are you doing your freeze frames? What I always do is to park the playhead at the exact spot I want to freeze, go to export, click on quicktime conversion, then change the format to still image. I will create a png that you can then open in photoshop and do whatever you want to with it.

Hi Lisa,

I do all of what you said. I found that I have to change the size of the image. When I export a freeze frame that is 16x9 it exports as a still but in 4x3 and squeezed. When I open it in Adobe Elements I have to change the pixel size so the aspect ratio is right. Thanks for the help and it will be good to see you at the next PVN meeting.
