G4 Sawtooth or Yosemite? Can't Post

I'm new to this, so forgive me if this question may seem stupid. I'm looking at buying a new G4 and I'm hearing talk about Yosemite and Sawtooth G4's, how do I know which one is which?
Thanks,
David Long

the yosemite is based on the older blue and white g3 macs. sawtooth is the newer architechture that has advancements like AGP graphics and faster memory speeds. If you buy a g4 now the only one that is a yosemite is the $1599 model. after apple gets enough g4s sold they plan to get rid of these and put in all sawtooths.

:Don't buy a G4 there's no software currently available to run on it, not even their own Final Cut Pro works. Try looking at Video mags there's one that has articles on how to buy a good editing comp for under $1000. Oh and by the way I have a G4/400 and it is a nice blue and gray and Final cut pro and they are lovely PAPERWEIGHTS. Oh and by the way Apple does not take returns even if the product doesn't work!!!!
