G4 and Sony DV solutions?

G4 and Sony DV solutions?	Can't Post

I cannot get my new G4 450 to talk to my Sony Handycam Vision DCR-SC100 camera. I've got the right cable (firewire 4-6 pin), the problem is software... Nobody seems to have software (except for Apple's $1K FC1.2 program) that will let me import DV into my great new Mac!!
Any ideas?

I have a G4 and an Sony DCR-TRV10 and iMovie works great. But it only comes with iMac DV. So it is not easy to get.

I have a G3 and a Sony DCR-PC100. I have no problems using Edit DV from Digital Origins. I can also record video using the Apple Video Player that came with the machine.
