Help with hooking up an LCD TV as an External Monitor? Can't Post

Hello,

I want to view my video and graphics while I'm editing, before I burn them to a dvd. Saving me time from finding out after words that something needed de-interlaced or a certain font flickers.

That being said, I think we are going with a flat panel LCD TV for somewhere around $300.00.

My questions are;

Will I be able to view on the external tv, exactly what I'm doing in Final Cut?

Will I be able to view on the external tv, exactly what I'm doing while in Motion building the dvd menu?

How should I go about hooking this up to my G5? Should I get a deck? or is there more to it than that?
