How to reinstall Compressor 3 Can't Post

I installed Leopard about a month ago via Archive Install, and everything works fine, except of course Compressor (many had reported problems after installing Leopard).

I tried to do a reinstall of the FCS suite, but that didn't work.

How can I totally uninstall Compressor and then just reinstall it without having to reinstall the entire suite?

Michael

Cameras: I do use them.
Audio: Yes, it does come with audio if you like.
Software: I am learning...

Sorry Michael, cant help you there. Hope you can figure it out so if I have the problem you can tell me how to reinstall it. However, I am wondering, what kind of problems are you having with Compressor? I have only used it to compress 4 or 5 movies to an M2V file to author to DVD (Encore on my PC since I haven't had the chance yet to learn DVDSP) I haven't encountered any problems that I know of yet.

Actually I didn't have to reinstall Compressor.
I didn't really want to manually go through and remove all references of Compressor and reinstall.

I found a reference on the Apple forums to a great piece of shareware for the MAC.

it's called Pacifist http://www.charlessoft.com/ and it lets me open the .pkg files on the disk and reinstall (in this case replace) the entire compressor and motion software. Worked like a charm.

The problem I was having was that I wasn't able to bring up my batch window, after I installed Leopard via Archive Install (this is a wide spread problem with the Leopard upgrade). No matter what i tried, I wasn't able to get the batch window to appear.

As you know, if I don't have access to the batch window then I can't load any files into it. thus making Compressor useless.

But as you saw from my post above, problem was solved.

Good! How's that baby girl doing? This is my new granddaughter. She was born just before Christmas. I'm really not that old, I got married at age 8.

She's doing absolutely fantastic. She really is a little angel, not fussy, sleeps 3-5 hours at a time and really knows how to flirt.

As you can tell from my new avatar, she has a ton of hair.
Much more than her dear old dad does. Wink
