Hi Marco, Its an outdated trial version you're using that only lets you play half the movie until you ponied up some cash to register it. Its free now that Microsoft bought it. You can do two things to clear it up (or both). Go to: http://www.microsoft.com/...er/wmcomponents.mspx Download the latest wmv player and update what you've got installed. It should work now and play all the way through. Or.... You can just download this: http://www.videolan.org/...download-macosx.html Install VLC, then find a wmv file and control+click on it. Select Get Info. In the Get Info window change the Open With defaut to VLC and then click the Change All window. It'll ask if you really want to do that. Click yes and from then on all your wmv movie files will open with VLC. I've had too many wierdnesses with wmv player so I trashed everything I could find associated with it. You can start by looking to see if the wmv player preference pane is installed. If it is control+click on it and choose to delete it. Then Spotlight 'wmv player' and drag all the associated files to the trash from the spotlight window. Or you can use an app like CleanApp to get rid of all the files,. Ceanapp is really handy for more than just clearing out stuff causing problems. You can free up a ton of space with it to by getting rid of language localizations and other junk that you'l never use. Spotlight can aso help clear out up to 10gb off your drive just by letting you trash all the PAL or NTSC stuff you'll never use. Motion and Studio Pro duplicate everything in both standards and not many people need both. Blah blah. Sorry for rambling! http://www.synium.de/cleanapp/index.html Joel "Think of this business as a room with a huge table and a bunch of chairs around the table. There is a big pie on the table.
