MultiMediaImporter.oxygene???? Can't Post

Every time I load DVDSP (4.2.1) I get two bouncing folders in my dock titled "MultiMediaImporter.oxygene" I can force quit them which doesn't seem to affect DVDSP but I can't get it to stop.

I've done searches online and the two or three things that come up don't offer any fixes that work for me.

I've...
1) Deleted my DVDSP preference file (com.apple.dvdsp.plist)
2) Repaired my permissions
3) Uninstalled my DivX player/converter (as per a suggestion on one of the support forums I found)

all to no avail!

Anyone have any idea on what these are and how fix this? Thanks in advance.

OMG! That's so strange that you're seeing this. So am I!! Every time I restart my machine it opens up pointing at a file of that name.

In Reply To
go to DVDSP.app and do a right click and select "show package contents"
find the plugin folder and remove the multimediaimporter.oxygene file.

I appreciate the attempted advice but Multimedia Importer is a key plug-in component for DVDSP. In other words it's should NOT be deleted.

Hi Glen, I will be interested to learn when you find a solution to this problem.

After I deleted it yesterday, dvdsp failed to work right anymore. None of buttons or templates would show up. They were there but it's like they were invisible. I couldn't create anything. I ended up deleting everything related to dvdsp and reinstalling it. What a hassle that was. It's working now though. Why all of a sudden did Glen and I both start
getting this little notice of multimediaimporter???

Hey Glen, I wonder if it's possible that it got moved to a different location somehow and it's simply trying to point that out to you. The reason I say this is cause when it popped up for me the path was dvdsp-content-multimediaimporter-plugins

Now it's dvdsp-content-plugins=multimediaimporter

I don't know if it makes a difference or not. I just see that it's filed differently now. Whatever you do, don't delete it!
