OT, Mac Animation of live video... Can't Post

http://www.wolfdigitalmedia.net/public/DWsmall.mov

Warning, it's 50MB, but crystal clear. Just a tiny sample of "Studio Artist", nothing else like it in the world, and Mac only!

DVX100a shot the original footage, edited in FCP 4.0 (yeah, it's old), clips treated in SA, recompiled in FCP. FYI.

Nice. Only critique I would say would be length, and some of the background animations and flickering from color banding/posterization distract from the dancers.

I've seen the posterization effect utilized before. It's an interesting effect but grows tiresome shortly after the piece's intro. I feel effects like this are best used in moderation rather than through an entire clip, especially considering the length of the entire piece. Thanks for sharing.

If you think this is simple Posterizing, you're way lost.

Did you remove the link, it doesn't seem to be connecting?

Both links are dead to me too.

Anyone web/quicktime certified?

Nice Ben, but I too think that it's too much for a whole piece - regardless of how amazing and unique the software is. I checked out several of the clips on the company's web site and if used in moderation this could be a very cool tool. Overused and this could be the 'damaged film' filter of our generation.
