Problems doing blue screen with G3 and Videoshop 4 Can't Post

I am trying to use the Chromakey filter in Videoshop 4 to do a blue screen effect. I understand the process, I have the clips aligned (foreground clip on top, background clip below). I have selected and area on both tracks and apply the filter. The resulting image is just garbage however, lines and patterns, neither video is visible. Is there a particular format that I have to use to make this work (I'm using QT 4). Thanks, in advance.

Re: Problems doing blue screen with G3 and Videoshop 4 Can't Post

If VideoShop 4 is anything like versions 2 and 3, just forget it. This is just absolutely the most insanely bug ridden program I have ever worked with! This program has somehow managed to fatally screw up every last thing I have ever attempted with it.
