I know we always post when we have a problem, but I just wanted to post to show my amazement with the new system I put in in july. I have had my new mac pro for almost 2 months now, and have not done an export through compressor because I was finishing a major project.Last night I had right around 30 hours of video to render out to 2 pass VBR M2V files from FCP. I knew my mac pro was going to be much quicker than the old G5, but I did not realize how much quicker it would really be. I started the render last night at 7, and ran by the office on my way to work at 7 this morning. The new machine had already rendered 65% of my content! on the old G5 this would have taken a week! I am very impressed!
