Safari plug-in for Windows Media Player 11? Can't Post

I suppose this doesn't exist yet. When I go to a webpage that uses videos configured for the new Windows Media Player 11, I am directed MS Download page for the player. So I assume that I won't be able to view Windows Media Player 11 videos on my Mac?

Hi Terry yes that worked, thanks.

Actually Lisa had just helped me with that problem and I should of updated it here. Also something good to know is that when you download the free version and if you have installed Leopard, you need to download the latest Beta Version. I downloaded it from this page.

I saw that too Ron, but it says if you have "upgraded" your system "to Leopard" you need the beta version. I didn't "upgrade" I did a full erase and install.so I downloaded the newest non-beta plug-in. Works like a charm. (I avoid "beta" software/plugs at all cost)

Well now you tell me. The damage is already done. I've already downloaded and installed it. Crazy

It's not any "damage"...just may not be as stable. It depends- some companies' betas are very solid- others are wishy washy.

To be honest I wasn't sure if I was doing the right thing NOT using the beta. However it works out for me fine. Playing WMVs is flawless.

Okay, I'll let you know if I have any problems, or I'll post it for others. I haven't even captured a single frame of video yet. I just wanted to take a little time to get to know the OS a little bit before I tackled any actual editing. Today I received my cheater keys and installed them on my keyboard and I also received the Shuttle Pro2 So it looks like I'm about ready to start learning FCP. I've never used this Shuttle before, but It looks like it's going to be a really nice tool.
