Scripting help on DVDSP Can't Post

In DVDSP I have a submenu where my chapters are located. I was to set up the remote buttons so that if someone pics a chapter and watches it when they hit the "menu" button on the remote I want them to be directed back to the chapter sub menu, not the main menu. Any idea how I can do this? I have been driving myself nuts trying to find a tutorial on scripting but have ha dno luck. For some reason the defaut on DVDSP 5 is to jump to the main menu whenever "menu" is pressed. Thanks for any advice you can offer.

Re: [Bill Kinkle] Scripting help on DVDSP [In reply to] Can't Post

I,m not sure if this is the sure fire answer but I handle it like this.

I make a story. I use the select all command and drag my chapters into the story display. You go to each chapter that is listed in the stories and under its menu function display set it to the menu you want. You have to have your menu chapters pointed to lets say, track 1 story one highlights etc. Don't use use track one highlights for example.

When you use the stories function like that it should work no problem. I use this for doing my chapters and have been headach free so far. Let me know if this is to vague and answer. DVDSP use to give me headaches.
