Can anyone give me a good way to export from premier to vhs using an imac?

The best thing to do is to go via your camcorder. The firewire-to-video boxes I've read about are almost as expesive as a DV camcorder, and have compatability problems.
Connect the firewire port from the computer to the camcorder, and connect the camcorder's analog ports to the VHS. You'll need to put the camcorder into "VCR" or "Plaback" mode, but you won't have to actually record onto a DV tape.
