proper Z1U setup for final cut Can't Post

I am trying to record HD footage back onto my Z1U from FCP Studio 2. I can't seem to get the correct settings for it to work.it only will see the camera if I have it to record DV footage.

Make sure your Z1 isn't set to downconvert HDV to DV ...

I use FCP 5.1.4, and when I'm going back to tape, I have to use the Print to Video option, making sure that FCP first sees the connected camera by checking the audio/video settings, and then making sure that the audio is set to HDV, not to default. But it may be different in FCP 6 ...
