transitions problem! Can't Post

When I have rendered two videochannels with a crossdisolve, or just rendere them by mixing the two videochannels without using a transition...before and after the transition, there's a shock.
What could be the problem? I am using qt 4 (tried 3), G3/350 and premiere 5.1c.
Please help!

You might want to zoom (single frame view) the way to see
if the transition is 'overlapping' beyond the in/out of
the clips. Also, print to video and see if it still happens.
The "shock" might be ocurring after you remove the
trasnsitions b/c Premiere's still referencing the
preview you rendered.
