i have a blue and white G3 (350) with adobe premiere and a sony trv900, there has always been little minor glitches now and then but in the last few days I get these weird flashes, even when the monitor is black and nothing is previewing, I know its not my monitor, I'm sure its not the camera - so it has to be either the G3 or Premiere. the flash has a digital look to it but does not appear at any particular point on any project I'm working on (ie, when I carefully go over a clip no flash appears). This glitch seems to coincide with the hardrive writing, but as I mentioned this problem has not appeared before in over six months use. I haven't added anything new in a while and Iv've tried playing from both of my hardrives. This problem is pretty chronic, three or four flashes every minute..... Help!
