1. Introduce yourself. 2. Ask if they have a few minutes to speak with you. If they say no, ask what would be a better time to call them back. 3. Briefly describe one or two things that your services can do to help them. (Not, "We do film to video transfers", but "We can protect the investment you've made in movie film and still images, and make it more accessible.") 4. Ask them if they'd like to know more, and offer to send them a demo.\ 5. Ask them if they have any projects in mind that you could discuss with them. If so, set up a place and time for a meeting. 6. Ask them for their contact info (email, snail mail). Even if they don't bite now, touch base with them every few months with a call, email, or mail flyer. Keep them aware of your existence. 7.
