Any idea what to charge? Can't Post

Hi:

I will be videotaping a Choir concert for private catholic elementary school. Venue will be inside the Church.

Haven't done this before so I am wondering what i should charge
for this videotaping.

I was told there's a possibility of selling the DVDs to parents. Must I just incorporate my videotaping cost to the DVD selling price or should I charge the school separately?

Thanks,
Arnold

You can do anything you want. But I would not count on sales, church people steal copy-protected stuff just as quick as anyone else. If it was me, I would charge a fee that would cover my costs for shooting & editing, and then make school a partner in any sales that show up. So if they sell a lot, it turns into a fundraiser for them, and they will be more likely to call you again.
