Be a Legal Video Specialist for $60 - $75/hr Can't Post

Videotaping legal depositions is becoming big business. If you
have flexible hours, this can be a great full or part time business.

Just kind of curious ... I've heard that depositions regularly get cancelled because of parties deciding to settle. (I know mine did.) Are there any provisions to get paid a minimal amount as a "retainer" should the dep. be cancelled?

Does this kit also contain a marketing plan ... a "how-to" to let attorneys know that you now offer the service?

Scott,
Yes, they are frequently cancelled as well as rescheduled. But
the good news is that most legal video specialists charge for
cancellations and require that bookings be confirmed 24 hrs
in advance of the deposition. A typical policy is that if the
specialist h already travelled to the deposition site, he is
paid for 4 hours (the minimum fee most use). If he (or she)
hasn't left yet there is a flat payment of $150.
The bottom line is that you are protected against cancellations
if you follow the advice in the business ket. To do this kind
of work, you do need to have a flexible schedule.

Yes, it does have a marketing plan [In reply to] Can't Post

Yes, it does have a marketing plan, but it it not to
attorneys! You will learn why marketing to attorneys
can be a very expensive mistake.
Like our other products this kit comes with a
90 Day Money Back Guarantee so there's no risk to you.

Hal, this may sound like an odd question, but is there a need for depositions in Canadian law? Are you aware of any other members that have become involved in this field anywhere in Canada?
