CD Business Card Advice? Can't Post

I was asked by a client to do the "video business card" thing and it is new to me, so I need some advice. First, what format is it in? Being it will go on CD rather than DVD probably means 1 or 2 minutes of low compression or mpeg-1. Are some CD ROM interactive or are they simply CD Videos? Will they play on other computers? Some use a 3" disc, others a rectagular one. Is there a difference besides preference? And finally, can the small discs be burned on a regular computer?

Information would be helpful. Thanks.

I have played around a bit with CD business cards. These days I use the round mini-CDs. I have found the rectangular cards to be less reliable (they play on some machines but not on others) and too limiting in terms of storage space. A rectangular card can store around 40 mb while the min-CD will store 180 mb, which can be significant if you want to include significant video.

I have tried various authoring software packages and have settled on Flash because it so close to universal as well as being fairly easy to use and modify. It is also easily ported to or from websites so your marketing material can serve double duty. I usually use video encoded in Flash though have also used embedde Quicltime and Windows media with good results.
