Can I Import Better Titles Into iMovie From Another Program Can't Post

As many of you know, iMovie is very limited regarding titles. You are limited to two lines and even worse, the second line is smaller in size than the first line. I can't put a page or even a few paragraphs on the screen with iMovie. Is there anyway a novice like me can import titles / text from Final Cut? Better yet, since Final Cut is so sophisticated, is there some other simple to learn titling program (that is solely for titles and text) that I could learn and import that into iMovie? Final Cut is tough for me to learn. Any ideas for a slow learner?

Jim ... have you worked with Photoshop at all? I purchased Photoshop Elements (LE) for around $100 and it does pretty good with the basics.
