Contacting the Person in Charge Can't Post

Hi All,

Anyone have any ideas about getting the name of the person at a company authorized to spend money on a corporate video? I'm thinking that if the person's name is actually on the envelope, there's a better chance that the piece will be opened rather than being tossed as junk mail.

Thanks in advance for your input!

Sincerely,

Charles Charpentier

Re: [FilmworksGuy] Contacting the Person in Charge [In reply to] Can't Post

That's a good start. Also, consider the purpose of your proposed video. If it's for instruction, the head of the company's training department is a good choice. If it's for sales promotion, contact Marketing. If it's for internal company communications or corporate history, try Public Affairs.
