Converting BetaCam to DV Can't Post

I am very new to videography and I have a question about Betacam. I have some footage that is on BetaCam format and I would like to somehow convert it to digital video so that I can stream it over the web. Would anyone here know how this can be done. Thanks.

Contact a TV station or local production house that has Betacam and digital equipment. They can dub from one to the other for you.

Can I convert VHS tape to DV [In reply to] Can't Post

Is there a way that I can use my Sony MiniDV to record a VHS tape on my VCR? I would like to somehow transfer some footage that is also on VHS tape onto my camcorder. Would you know how I can do this without having to spend alot of money? Thanks.

Look in to purchasing a transcoder.
A $300 dollar Canopus ADVC is acceptable for VHS/SVHS footage.
You'll need a Rosetta Stone (422) cable and a composite transcoder for the Beta footage...prices increase double to triple and beyond for such a unit.
Perhaps someone else can chime in with suggestions on a quality composite box.
