Copywrited music in personal videos	Can't Post

Hey there...
I have a question about using copywrited music in videos. If, say, I were making a video photo album for someone, as a payed service kind of thing, and I wanted to use copywrited music, would I need to get permission even if the video were being made only for personal purposes? (i.e. not to be shown in public)
