Corporate Anniversary video project Can't Post

i have been given the task of putting together an Anniversary video for a community college. What should Be the proceedure for putting this type video project together, from the start to finish? i know this is a lot to ask, with no specifics. But would like to hear your opinions on what all you require from a potential client. From the initial concept to completion. And what procedures you would follow to get from start to finish on a project of this sort. 15-20 minutes in length.

Thanks in advance

We just shot a 100 year anniversary for a small Christian college, but we haven't edited it yet. According to them they wanted something for archival and to put into their time capsule.

We shot events that they wanted shot, spread out over several days. I'm not sure what they've asked you to do, but we've been told to put it together as a documentary.

This is for a community college that started as a vo-tech school then became a technical college and now community college. it will probably be documentary style. But I have until Mar. 1 as a completion date. And was given nothing to work withor from. and just was given this task last week and am not being given time by my supervisor to even think about doing it must less completeing it. and the higher ups seem to want editing control but I cant get them to make timely decisions about what they want in it or who interview. And somebody dropped the ball on the project as someone knew about this back the first of january if not December. so The info I am asking for here is a procedure that should have been followed, prior to editing, like concepts, shotlists, storyboarding, scripting and so on. So maybe I can prevent the nightmare I have going on now from happening in the future.

March 1? Unless you've already completed shooting, tell them it's hopeless, and make plans for next year.
