Corporate Video? Can't Post

Hello, for my senior thesis project from Hofstra University I had to make a corporate, non for profit, video. I made the video, and my client liked it a lot, they are now interested in hiring me to do another one for them. Can any one suggest how much to charge. It will all be shot either on DVC Pro format, Beta, or with a high end 3 chip mini dv, it will be edited with Avid Express Pro, and dubbed down to either BETA, or DVC PRO. If any one has any suggestions pleas let me know.
Thanks
Craig

There is no set answer as markets, experience, talent and gear vary.
If it helps, you should be making between 100 and 200 dollars per hour. This covers your time as well as expenses. Most shooters charge by the day or half day and most editors charge by the hour. If quoting a flat rate for the project just add up the hours you think you'll spend and add plenty to that guess for revisions.
have fun, man.

Another thing to consider, many people with lots of experience make the 100-150/hour, but they can put things together at speeds that make my head spin because they have already done similar things before.

Therefore, hourly rate is open to debate, as some people can create much more per hour than others.
