: I'm making an informational video of various watering holes. Some are state parks, others are parks where you pay an admission to get in. I will be shooting underwater video as well as footage of the parks themselves. Do I need permission to shoot on land or water? I think all water (rivers, lakes) is public anyways so they don't own the water. Or provide a link to legal questions for digital video. You probably DO need a film permit. Check with your state Department of Parks and Recreation. They may also require proof of liability insurance. Regards, Doug Graham
