Do you need permission to film outdoors at parks? Can't Post

I'm making an informational video of various watering holes. Some are state parks, others are parks where you pay an admission to get in. I will be shooting underwater video as well as footage of the parks themselves. Do I need permission to shoot on land or water? I think all water (rivers, lakes) is public anyways so they don't own the water. Or provide a link to legal questions for digital video.

Re: HOW CAN I SELL MY OWN MUSIC? [In reply to] Can't Post

: I am a Rapper and I have a couple of songs that I have made over
: instumentals from popular artists such as Snoop to UGOD from the WU-tang
: Clan. Well what I was wondering was, I wrote these songs and if I
: was able to remix my songs using my own beats, how can I post my music
: so that people can listen and possibly buy it? Many people that
: I have let listen to my music have told me I have a destinctive flow
: and I am very good. I am just looking for some advice cause I do
: not trust a lot of these small time record companies and I want
: total creative control to sell and create what I want to create. Til then Patna 5000!!

Re: cut a demo [In reply to] Can't Post

:look, you can make your own music on a computer, get a midi and some soft ware. Or if your by
a big city go get familiar with a studio, ask the owner if he would show you the ropes for
free or a small fee. after you cut your demo you got three choices. go underground
be your own producer but theres alot of legal patents you need
have music stores sell your music for their small profit until
people get hip. Or cut a demo send it around to a few places big companies
Or have the studio or some one at the studio put you on. Id send it to
the big companies first if its tight. but you gotta have tight beats.
Or have some one make you some. keep it real much luv to rap

You probably DO need a film permit. Check with your state Department of Parks and Recreation.
They may also require proof of liability insurance.
