GoLookInside update Can't Post

There have been several discussions on these boards regarding "GoLookInside", a startup company with a low-cost, fast-turnaround streaming video advertising business model. The company's business model was concentrating primarily on real estate ads. Critics have complained that this business model would not provide an adequate return to the videographer, and also that the potential clients, real estate agents, would be reluctant to purchase the product, even at GLI's low price point.

GLI is still in business, but in a recent broadcast email to their subcontractors and other interested folks, has indicated that the critics were right, at least about the ability of the real estate business to support the video home tour concept. GLI continues to work with Cendant, the giant real estate conglomerate, but is also looking around for other markets more receptive to low-cost streaming video. They are also raising their prices to future clients, and slightly increasing the amount paid to the individual videographer.
