I'm doing two promotion videos each 4-5 minutes long for a non-profit organization that takes people with disabilities sailing. They both will be used to show at conferences and to the different organizations that have provided funding for the organization, and for future funding!
The first video will be a highlight video for the summer sailing camp which is a combination of abled and disabled children. The video will have images of all the watersports activities (sailing, kayaking, fishing, etc), interviews, narrations and testimonials from program directors, campers, counselors, parents, and volunteers.
The second video will be similar. It will be more of a documentary style about an alternative school that the organization just started. It is a group of inner city kids that go to school at this sailing camp and do half the day in the class room and then half the day on the bay doing hands on activities that correlate to lessons done in the classroom. Again, there will be interviews and testimonials from teacers, parents, and students combined with images of the students in the classroom and on the water sailing and learning about marine life.
I would greatly appreciate it if anyone could give me a ball park figure of what this job might be worth. I figure about four days of filming and a week of editing!! I'll be filming with a canon XL1.
Appreciate it,
Jared
