Re: Waiver of Responsibility...Is it enough? [In reply to] Can't Post

Is the following waiver that I adapted to my circumstance
enough?
I, the undersigned, have been informed and accept
tha aqua exercise, as an outdoor or indoor activity, carries
a risk of personal injury and that there are natural and
man-made hazards, environmental conditions, and risks,
which, in combination with my participation in this activity,
can cause me serious, or possibly even fatal, injury.

I agree that I, as a participant, must take an active role
in understanding and accepting these risks, conditions, and
hazards.

I also agree that only I, and not the instructor nor the
facility nor its staff, land owners or managers am
responsible for my health and safety while I participate
in this activity. I assume full and complete responsibility
for myself.

Well I wish it was that easy. Shopping a TV show is kinda like trying to get a recorded deal, It's not always about how good you are, it's but about time, place and persistance. And oh yah...who you know!

First things first, COPY RIGHT YOUR MATERAL! Remember you can not copy right and Idea, you must write it out in as much detail as you can. A friend of mine had her idea stolen by MTV, I believe the show is airing now.
2nd, the best way to really shop your show, is to get a laywer or an agency to represent you. Most studio executives won't give the time of day to Joe Blow off the street.
I'm not sure where you live are, but the key is to get the right people to believe in you. Make phone calls to to agency, but you should have more than one show idea written up before you appoach them, because they won't sign you on 1 idea, they want to know that you have many ideas so it's worth their while.
but most important you have to believe in you idea enough not to give up! There are many ways to skin this cat . This is just what I've have been able assertain. 2 months ago my partners and I had a pitch meeting with NBC.
My food for thought.
