How often do people sue for not having a location release? Can't Post

I'm filming a documentary and I've been trying to get permission(location release's) from several state parks with no luck. I've called, written and emailed. I'm filming underwater in rivers and ponds. What are the chances that the state would pursue a law suit for for such a small individual like me. I've already shot all footage.

Since you already have the footage, I seriously doubt that some public servant is going to take the trouble to sue you for not getting the proper permits. I've filmed on "permit only" locations before and have simply been asked to leave when caught. No big deal. However, I am not a lawyer nor do I claim to be one or even play one on tv so take any advice with all due caution. Proceed at your own risk. Don't drink and drive. Always wear your seatbelt. Your results may vary. Do not take while under the influence of drugs. Do not operate heavy machinery while reading this post. Never shout "death to the infidels!!" when boarding a plane. Read all caution lables. Good luck with your film.
