: I am a professoinal researcher and I am looking for home movies (shot on FILM) that have been transferred to tape for use in a project that I am working on. Please let me know if you have footage for me to view and feel free to pass this on to others.

: I am looking for either 8mm or Super8 film from any time period (FILM ONLY, no home movies originally shot on video). It should show people/families/couples/whatever on VACATION. Visiting the big city, seeing the sights and landmarks, taking taxicabs, going to the beach on vacation, going on a skiing trip, etc. Home movies can show footage with people in it or just landmarks, it doesn't matter (as long as you can indemnify on talent). DO NOT want birthday parties, Xmas, etc. But if you've got VACATION/TOURIST/DESTINATION material, please let me know and I'll scan through the other stuff.
: I need to see footage that has already been transferred to tape for viewing purposes.
: You will need to sign off on talent (indemnification) as part of the license contract. This would be used in a TV commercial (Nat'l, spot buy, 3 month term) and a license fee would be paid for anything you've got that ends up in the commercial. There will be no talent fees or residuals paid.
: We are only interested in Black, Asian, Hispanic, subjects. Please forward this email to anyone you know who you think might be able to help provide footage.
: If you or anyone you know has footage that they want to talk to me about, have them phone or email me. I can give them a FEDEX # for shipping purposes.
: And, if you've got Home Movies, but NOTHING in the "vacation" category, let me know anyway. This request comes up a lot and I may as well know about it.
