MiniDV Camera Recommendation Can't Post

Have about $700.00 to spend on a MiniDV camera .. will be using for fast action sporting events, video bio's and how to productions .. Brands and model #'s would be appreciated ..

If you're going to do these projects for pay, I'd suggest you re-think your camera budget. To be competitive with other DV shooters, let alone the Betacam SP and DV50 crowd, you're going to need at least a 3CCD camera. It's going to cost you about $2,000 - $3,600, new, for a handheld "prosumer" model, and $5,000 and up for a professional shoulder-mounted camera and lens. You may be able to find a clean used TRV-900 or VX-1000 for around $1,000, but that's the very bottom.
For $700, you can get a camera that's good for taping Junior's birthday and Christmas.
