NY Blackout - Breaking News, 08/14	Can't Post

A major blackout has struck New York, and includes cities as far west as Cleveland, OH, and as far north as Toronto. Albany is reported as affected.
The cause is unknown at present.
Since it's still daylight, there's been no panic, but many services have been disrupted.
Any of you folks in the area ought to get out your camcorders and start documenting the situation. You might wind up able to sell some footage to your TV stations.

Or better yet, get footage of the black out, then of someone using an inverter on their car to generate electricy for their house as a solution. ;-)
