Professional Video Producer Can't Post

Hi There! I am interested in the Professional Video Producer home study course but I am based in the UK. How much of this course is only applicable to the US (i.e. legal and contract stuff only relevant to US law) and how much would be relevant to us here in the UK?
Cheers, JJ

Re: Professional Video Producer Can't Post

Hi John,
You will find that the only thing that might be a bit different
is a few words used by your people and my people. The
"Letters of Agreement" are not intended to be a legal contract
so any slight differences in our laws will not matter. These letters
of agreement are designed to help the producer and client
communicate clearly about each parties resposibilities.
The letters help remove any ambiguity about who does what.
For instance:
I will give you 10 hours of scripting and
preproduction work. You will pay me $70 an hour times 10 =
$700 before I start the work. You agree to help in the
scripting process by answering questions about you customers and your products
and by reading the drafts I write and suggesting improvements.
See how it works? it's not about laws, it's about creating a
working relationship where we both have the same goals.
I have an article that may explain this process a little more.
http://videouniversity.com/contarti.htm
This article alludes to a product called "Letters of Agreement" which is
included in the course Professional Video Preoducer.
The products all come with a 90 day money back guarantee so there's no risk
to you. Feel free to write me or call if I can answer any questions.
Best,
Hal Landen
