Research on the effectiveness of video for marketing	Can't Post

Does anyone have access to research on the effectiveness of video as a marketing tool. I need hard numbers showing positive results, a study conducted in the past few years would be wonderful. Please include a link or other info on how to access this data, and of course, I have no $ to pay for it. Thanks.

I don't have the numbers you want, but look at TV commercials.
I don't think they'd spend $100's of millions if it did not produce
the results.

Actually, Brother Hal, I seem to recall a study by the Morton
School of Business at one of the Pa. universities cited in a
courses I got from you. It was VERY HIGH! over 70%?
Then again, maybe only a senior moment! ;)

on page 2 of my own "Professional Video Producer"
study guide it says
"According to a study by the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School
of Business, prospects are 72% more likely to purchase a product
or service when video is used and they make their buying decisions
faster."

What about response rates from CD-Rom vs. VHS Video. Ohter than the
the obvious gains with CD, anyone know how much more effective
CD-DVD is over VHS?
