Royalty Free music Can't Post

Another question: where can I get royalty free music? Is there a website or a name of a company?
Thanks.

Re: Royalty Free music [In reply to] Can't Post

There are hundreds! I would suggest you do an internet search.
Just use Royalty Free Music in the search box.
Another suggestion is to check out EBAY. Most large production houses offer their music on EBay at discounted prices. Often 1/2 price.
Most allow you to preview the music before you buy it.

Re: Royalty Free music - www.opuzz.com [In reply to] Can't Post

Hi Alma,

Try www.opuzz.com
I really think it is good plus it starts from $2.99 -royalty-free.
It's a friend company. Since I'm in video,
I've been helping him promote whenever I can. I've used many
production libraries but I find his pretty different as in it gives
you many versions and durations to a track. I may need a 30 sec
and then a 2 minute and they are all available for every track.
He also has layers and sub-mixes as well as the GOD-sent Transition
tracks. Perfect for videos as you need something to move between
sections and segments or between two songs. The submixes are
really useful for segments with heavy voice-overs. The music is
then more sparce yet it is the same track.

Don't bother getting those CD libraries as most of the songs
are cheat. In the production line, I've accumulated quite a few.
Many versions in them but you'll most probably use one or two
only. Plus you never really know what you are gonna get.
I once got crap (music that is so repetitive until I was
wishing that they would just make a switch to the next chord
or something.) Some CDs really rip people off with the promise
of many versions and options. I've heard some that have tracks
that sound almost the same - with the tempo speed up or in a
different key. And they call it another track! Wouldn't even
dare to pass it on to my client.

Else get your license from www.ascap.com for non-royalty-free
but it will cost you. It is a real hassle. My emails
(sent trice) have still not yet been answered.
Don't illegally use music - we should know better (I don't know
why everyone is still asking so?)
